This policy describes how Bolehdate (“we”, “us”) collects and uses information on bolehdate.com and related services (the “Service”).

Information we collect

Account

When you register we store your email address and a hashed password, or we store your Google account id if you continue with Google. We issue a session token after you sign in. We store only a one-way hash of that token, not the token itself.

Profile

You may provide a name, date of birth, gender, who you are looking for, city, bio, and photos. Other people on the Service can see your profile (except your email and date of birth — we show age) when you appear in Discover or after you match.

Activity

We store likes and passes, matches, chat messages, blocks, and reports so the Service can work.

Technical data

Our host and CDN may log IP address, browser type, and request times to operate and secure the site.

How we use information

• Run accounts, profiles, Discover, matching, and chat
• Enforce the 18+ age rule and our terms
• Handle blocks and reports
• Fix bugs and keep the Service up
• Respond if you email us
• Send verification and password-reset mail to the address on your account

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only:

• With other users as part of the dating loop described above
• With infrastructure providers that host the site, database, and photos
• When required by law, or to protect people from harm

Photos are stored on our server and served at unguessable URLs. Do not upload pictures of anyone who has not agreed to appear on a dating profile.

Retention

We keep account, profile, match, and message data while your account is active. Email [email protected] to ask us to delete your account and associated data.

Your choices

• Edit your profile in the app
• Block or report someone from Discover or chat
• Log out to drop the current session cookie
• Request deletion by emailing [email protected]

Children

Bolehdate is for adults. You must be 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
